Osama Bin Laden IS DEAD.

To all the firefighters, to all the friends and families, to all the victims of 9/11 - you may rest in peace. "we got him". 

Do you remember where you were on that dreadful day. I do, i was in grade 1, Houston, Texas. i came home from school & my Dad turned on the tv. My mum was somewhere in the U.S. on a little business trip. I watched as the plane fly towards the Twin Towers in broad daylight. Crash & burn. Then i innocently watched, as hundreds of firefighters rush to the scene & into the building holding on to nothing but courage, unaware of their sealed fate. We all know what happens next. The almighty towers, they collapsed & turned into rubble - slaughtering the lives of thousands..on live tv. I thought mum was in there, i started crying. Away from the seriousness for a bit - i remember i was devouring cheetos at the time..& i hate cheetos now. Maybe that's why.

For that split second 10 years ago, i knew how millions of family that lost loved ones felt. My elementary school devoted 9/11 as a day of heart-ache & grief for our loss ever since. We wrote letters, drew pictures for the deceased and pasted em' all over school.

"On September 11, 2001, in our time of grief, the American people came together.  We offered our neighbors a hand, and we offered the wounded our blood.  We reaffirmed our ties to each other, and our love of community and country.  On that day, no matter where we came from, what God we prayed to, or what race or ethnicity we were, we were united as one American family." - Obama. & i am a witness.

Think about the love inside the strength of heart. Think about the heroes saving life in the dark. Climbing higher through the fire, time was running out. Never knowing you were going to be coming down alive. But you still came back for me. You were strong & you believed. 

Think about the chance i never had to say. Thank you for giving up your life that day. Only hearing, never fearing voices calling out. Let it all go, the life that you know just to bring them down alive. & you still came back for me. You were strong & you believed. Everything is gonna be alright. Be strong, Believe.
